The Bustling Society is a growing collection of free creative community projects that bring people together through art.
Supported through public funding and partnerships, we create artist-led programmes that make contemporary art more accessible, inviting people of all ages to explore, create and connect through shared experiences. Together, we celebrate the beauty, meaning and possibilities of art as part of everyday life and the communities we share.

Winter Garden 2026
A community Wreath-Making Gathering
Winter Garden, Beyond Space’s annual community wreath-making project, is back! This year, we’re joining The Hub at St John’s Church for a warm and welcoming day of food, creativity and companionship for older members of our community. Together, we’ll create a large-scale festive wreath using natural materials and seasonal foliage from the church gardens, to hang in the church and bring a little colour, warmth and festive spirit to the season.
Whether you’d like to get involved in making, enjoy a chat over a hot meal, or simply spend some time in good company, you’re very welcome. Come along for a hot meal, a warm welcome and some creative time together. No experience needed.
We look forward to welcoming you and making something beautiful together.
