Drawing Ground is a playful and inspiring drawing project that explores drawing as a tool for creative thinking, communication, and self-expression. Each session is full of creative activities designed to spark creativity, build drawing skills, and stretch your thinking - rooted in the experimental, curious spirit of contemporary art.
Drawing helps you focus, build confidence, and see the world in fresh and surprising ways. It’s also a great way to relax, explore your feelings, and make something that’s completely your own. Along the way, you will naturally strengthen focus, coordination, observation, and self-expression.

Drawing Ground at School
After-school drawing programme at Rockmount School
We’re excited to be invited to bring our Drawing Ground into a local school. Drawing Ground at Rockmount School is an artist-led drawing club for Rockmount Years 3-6 pupils who enjoy experimenting ideas, discovering different ways of seeing and thinking through art and developing their drawing skills. Each session explores a different drawing activity with a focus on techniques, materials and approaches, extending their ideas of what drawing can be. The session takes place in a school setting offering a creative space where children can explore drawing through open-ended experiments while gradually building confidence through regular practice.

Who’s it for?
Year 3–6 children who love drawing and want to develop their skills, build confidence and explore new ways to turn their ideas into art.

Year 6 children who want to strengthen their art skills before starting KS3 Art & Design.
